We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,

and Royal Decree 71/93 Establishing a Fund to Support Sporting Activities,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The text of article 3 of the aforementioned Royal Decree 71/93 is hereby replaced with the following text:

Article 3

The works of the fund must be managed by a board of directors formed by virtue of royal orders.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the day following the date of its publication.

and in pursuance of  public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Dr Saeeda bint Khater bin Hassan Al-Farsi is hereby appointed Member of Majlis Al-Dawla.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

The following are hereby promoted to the special grade:

– Said bin Ali bin Salim Al-Kalbani.

– Talib bin Miran bin Zaman Al-Raisi.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

Khalid bin Rashid bin Said Al-Manouri is hereby appointed Vice-President of the Supreme Court.

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
