Arabic We, Haitham bin Tarik, the Sultan of Oman after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State, Royal Decree 3/2013 Establishing the Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority, and the System of the Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority issued by Royal Decree 68/2014, and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Brigadier Sulaiman bin Ali bin Ahmed Al-Husseini is hereby promoted to the rank of Major General and appointed President of the Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance. Issued on: 17 Dhu Al-Qa’dah 1446 Corresponding to: 15 May 2025

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State,

the Oil and Gas Law issued by Royal Decree 8/2011,

and the Petroleum Agreement between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman, OQ Exploration and Production Block 54 LLC, and Genel Energy No. 8 Limited (Oman Branch) for Block 54 signed on 10 March 2025,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The mentioned petroleum agreement is hereby approved.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
