We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,
and the Civil Service Law promulgated by Royal Decree 120/2004,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
Dr Moosa bin Jaafar bin Hassan is hereby appointed Advisor to the Permanent Delegation of the Sultanate to the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and granted the special grade.
Article II
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

The aforementioned agreement is hereby ratified.
