We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

and the Law Concerning the Officer System of the Diwan of Royal Court issued by Royal Decree 97/97,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Brigadier General Abdullah bin Saif bin Ali Al-Abri is hereby appointed Advisor to the Office of the Secretary General of Royal Court Affairs.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

Royal Decree 26/2004 Amending the Annex of the Provisions Establishing the Oman and Emirates Investment Holding Company SAOG Attached to Royal Decree 10/93

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

the Commercial Companies Law 4/74 and its amendments,

the Royal Decree 10/93 Establishing the Oman and Emirates Investment Holding Company SAOG,

and the resolution of the extraordinary general meeting of the Oman and Emirates Investment Holding Company SAOG to reduce the capital of the company held on 20 May 2002,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The text of article 3 of the Annex of the Provisions Establishing the Oman and Emirates Investment Holding Company SAOG attached to Royal Decree 10/93 is hereby replaced with the following text:

The capital of the company is 7,500,000 (seven million five hundred thousand) Rial Omani.

The percentage of shareholders’ contribution must be reduced by the same percentage as the capital reduction.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

Royal Decree 25/2004 Declaring Public Benefit Status to the Project to Remove Buildings Distorting the Public View in Hillat Al-Raml in the Wilayat of Ibri

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

and the Law on the Expropriation for Public Benefit issued by Royal Decree 64/78 and its amendments,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The project to remove buildings distorting the public view in Hillat Al-Raml in the Wilayat of Ibri specified in the attached note and masterplan is hereby deemed a public benefit project.

Article II

The competent entities may seize, through direct execution, real estate and land necessary for the project, and all establishments on them, in accordance with the provisions of the mentioned Law on the Expropriation for Public Benefit.

Article III

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
