We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,
and Royal Decree 95/97 Establishing the Omanisation Supervision Committee,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
The Omanisation Supervision Committee stipulated in the mentioned Royal Decree 95/97 is hereby abolished, and its powers relating to the public sector are hereby transferred to the Ministry of Civil Service and its powers relating to the private sector are hereby transferred to the Ministry of Manpower.
Article II
The Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court shall determine the status of the officers of the abolished committee.
Article III
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

and the Civil Service Law issued by Royal Decree 8/80 and its amendments,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
Mustafa bin Ali bin Abdullatif Al-Lawati is hereby appointed Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education for Administrative and Financial Affairs.
Article II
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
