We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,
and the Civil Associations Law issued by Royal Decree 14/2000 and its amendments,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
A new article numbered 5bis 1 is hereby added to the mentioned Civil Associations Law with the following text:
Article 5bis 1
The provisions of this law apply to associations established by expatriate communities in a manner that does not contradict with the provisions of the regulation issued by the minister in their regard.
Article II
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its publication.

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,
and the Agreement Between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of the People’s Republic of China for the Avoidance of Double Taxation and the Prevention of Fiscal Evasion with Respect to Taxes on Income signed in Muscat on 25 March 2002,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
The mentioned Agreement Between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of the People’s Republic of China for the Avoidance of Double Taxation and the Prevention of Fiscal Evasion with Respect to Taxes on Income is hereby ratified.
Article II
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
The text of article 4 of the mentioned law is hereby replaced with the following text:
Oman Gas Company and the contractors and suppliers implementing its projects are exempted from paying customs duties on imported gas pipelines, pressure stations, goods, equipment, machinery, devices, and spare parts necessary for the company to manage the gas transportation sector.
Article II
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
