We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,
the Oil and Minerals Law issued by Royal Decree 42/74,
and the petroleum agreement between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and Novos Oman Limited signed on 1 October 2001 between the Minister of Oil and Gas on behalf of the Government of the Sultanate and the mentioned company,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
The mentioned petroleum agreement signed on 1 October 2001 between the Government of the Sultanate and Novos Oman Limited is hereby approved.
Article II
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,
and the Diplomatic and Consular Corps Law issued by Royal Decree 40/86 and its amendments,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
Ambassador Yahya bin Salim bin Hamad Al-Wahaibi, Our ambassador to the Republic of Korea, is hereby transferred to the headquarters of the Foreign Ministry.
Article II
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.

Royal Decree 47/2001 Amending the Ministerial Formation,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
Hamad bin Sulaiman bin Hamad Al-Gharibi is hereby appointed an Undersecretary of the Ministry of Regional Municipalities, Environment, and Water Resources for Regional Municipalities Affairs and Water Resources.
Article II
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from 25 June 2001.
