Arabic We, Haitham bin Tarik, the Sultan of Oman after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State, the Oil and Gas Law promulgated by Royal Decree 8/2011, and the Petroleum Agreement between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and CC Energy B38 Limited (Oman Branch) for Block 38 signed on 7 January 2024, and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The aforementioned petroleum agreement is hereby approved.

Article II

and the System of the Tax Authority and the Adoption of its Organisational Structure promulgated by Royal Decree 42/2020,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Nasser bin Khamis bin Ali Al-Jashmi is hereby appointed Chairman of the Tax Authority with his same rank and financial entitlements.

Article II

This decree shall be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

the System of the Tax Authority and the Adoption of its Organisational Structure promulgated by Royal Decree 42/2020,

and the System of the Administrative Apparatus of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 75/2020,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The text of article 6 of the aforementioned System of the Tax Authority is hereby replaced with the following text:

The authority shall have a chairman appointed by royal decree.

Article II

All that is contrary to this decree, or in conflict with its provisions, is hereby repealed.

Article III

This decree shall be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
