We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,
and the Law Governing Omani Nationality issued by Royal Decree 3/83 and its amendments,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
Muslim bin Saad bin Ali bin Sulaymon Ra’afeet is hereby revoked of Omani nationality.
Article II
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.

Article I
A new article numbered 222bis is hereby added to the mentioned Omani Penal Law with the following text:Whoever engages in prostitution or debauchery for a fee and without discrimination must be punished by imprisonment for three months to two years.

Article I
A new paragraph is hereby added to the text of article I of the mentioned Royal Decree 115/94 with the following text:It is permitted to assign or withhold salaries and allowances up to half of the salary or allowance for contractors of these categories in fulfilment of a fixed debt to the government, without prejudice to the priority of the maintenance debt, to the extent that it does not exceed a quarter of the salary or allowance. If the service of the contractor ends, the dues of the government must be deducted from the end-of-service gratuity and from any other entitlements.
Article II

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,
and the Labour Law issued by Royal Decree 34/73 and its amendments,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
A new paragraph is hereby added to the text of article 58bis of the mentioned Labour Law, the text of which is as follows:
If the service of the worker ends, the dues of the government must be deducted from the end-of-service gratuity and from any other entitlements.
Article II
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its publication.
