We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,
and the Civil Service Law issued by Royal Decree 8/80 and its amendments,
and the Diplomatic and Consular Corps Law issued by Royal Decree 40/86 and its amendments,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamoud Al-Busaidi is hereby appointed Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry.Article II

and the Protocol Amending Article 56 of the Convention on International Civil Aviation signed in Montreal on 6 October 1989,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
The mentioned Protocol Amending Article 56 of the Convention on International Civil Aviation is hereby ratified.
Article II
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
