We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

Royal Decree 91/97 Appointing a Vice Chancellor and a Secretary General for Sultan Qaboos University,

and the Law of Sultan Qaboos University issued by Royal Decree 14/99,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Salim bin Ismail bin Ali Al-Suwaid is hereby appointed Deputy Vice Chancellor of Sultan Qaboos University.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
