We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Mohammed bin Nasser Al-Khusaibi is hereby appointed Secretary General of the Ministry of National Economy with the rank of minister.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.

Article I

The Ministry of National Economy is hereby established and Ahmed bin Abdulnabi Makki is hereby appointed as its Minister and Deputy Chairman of the Financial Affairs Council.

Article II

The name of the Ministry of Finance and Economy is hereby amended to the Ministry of Finance.

Article III

The Minister of National Economy shall supervise the Ministry of Finance.

Article IV

Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Matar bin Salim Al-Azizi is hereby appointed Minister of Civil Service.

Article V

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.

Ambassador Said bin Khalifa bin Mohammed Al-Busaidi, Our ambassador to the Republic of Italy, is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Republic of Malta.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.

The following are hereby transferred to the first financial grade of the first circle of the general schedule attached to the Civil Service Law:

– Salim bin Mohammed Al-Masharrafi	Director General of Governance and Job Classification at the Ministry of Civil Service
– Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Ali	Director General of Career Planning and Training at the Ministry of Civil Service
– Abdullatif bin Abdullah Al-Qubtan	Director General of Employment at the Ministry of Civil Service

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
