We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

and Royal Decree 8/80 Issuing the Civil Service Law and its amendments,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Ali bin Mohammed Al-Jarwani is hereby appointed Undersecretary of the Ministry of Water Resources.

Article II

Sayyid Mahmoud bin Hamoud bin Nasr Al-Busaidi is hereby appointed in the Ministry of Water with his same grade and allocations.

Article III

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.

Royal Decree 28/89 Delegating the Signing of the Agreement Between the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of the French Republic for the Avoidance of Double Taxation,

and the mentioned agreement signed in the city of Paris on 1 June 1989,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The mentioned Agreement Between the Government Sultanate of Oman and the Government of the French Republic for the Avoidance of Double Taxation is hereby ratified.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.

the Constitution of the World Health Organization,

and the resolution of the General Assembly of the World Health Organization, at its thirty-ninth session held on 12 May 1986, to amend articles 24 and 25 of its constitution,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The amendment of articles 24 and 25 of the Constitution of the World Health Organization is hereby ratified, in accordance with the mentioned resolution of the general assembly of the organisation.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.

and Royal Decree 81/87 Appointing Representatives of the Stake of the Government in the Board of Directors of Salalah Hotels Company,

and the constitutive contract and the articles of association of Salalah Hotels Company SAOC,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The following are hereby appointed members of the Board of Directors of Salalah Hotels Company SAOC as representatives of the stake of the government:

– Deputy Wali of Dhofar

– Director General of Commerce and Industry in the Southern Region

– Director General of Finance in Salalah

– Director General of Tourism at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry

– Director of the Office of the Minister of Commerce and Industry

Article II

The mentioned Royal Decree 81/87 is hereby repealed.

Article III

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.

Sheikh Hamad bin Ali bin Said Al-Ghafri is hereby appointed advisor in the Ministry of Interior. He is hereby granted the first financial grade of the first circle of the general schedule, in exception to the provisions of the mentioned Civil Service Law.

Article II

Sayyid Said bin Ibrahim bin Saud Al-Busaidi is hereby granted the first financial grade of the first circle of the general schedule, in exception to the provisions of the mentioned Civil Service Law.

Article III

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
