after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal bin Said—Secretary of the Council of Ministers—is hereby granted the rank of minister.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.

Engineer Abdullah bin Abbas bin Ahmed is hereby appointed Head of Technical Affairs at the Diwan of Royal Court.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.

Article I

The name of the “Palace Office” is hereby amended to the “Ministry of Palace Affairs Office”. The ministry shall have the same mandates and regulations as were originally prescribed for the Palace Office prior to the issuance of this decree.

Article II

The name of the “Head of the Palace Office” is hereby amended to the “Minister of Palace Office Affairs”.

Article III

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
