We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

and Royal Decree 84/81 Establishing the State Consultative Council and its amendments,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

Abdullah bin Ali bin Mohammed Al-Qatabi is hereby appointed Chairman of the State Consultative Council.

Article 2

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force as of 1 January 1988.

Hamad bin Hilal bin Ali Al-Maamari is hereby granted the title of ambassador, and is hereby appointed an ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Article 2

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.

The following are hereby appointed members of the Board of Directors of Oman Flourmills Company Limited SAO as representatives of the stake of the Government of the Sultanate:

– Economic Advisor to the Minister of Commerce and Industry.

– Director General of Commerce at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.

– Director of Tourism at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.

– Director of Corporate Affairs at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.

– Director of Loans and Investments at the Ministry of Finance and Economy.
