We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

Royal Decree 54/84 Delegating the Ambassador of the Sultanate to the Republic of India to Sign the Agreement Between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of India for the Avoidance of Double Taxation on Income Derived from Air Transport,

and the texts of the mentioned agreement signed in New Delhi on 23 October 1984,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The mentioned Agreement Between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of India for the Avoidance of Double Taxation on Income Derived from Air Transport is hereby ratified.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
