We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,
and the Civil Service Law promulgated by Royal Decree 120/2004,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
Maitha bint Saif bin Majid Al-Mahrouqiya is hereby appointed Undersecretary of the Ministry of Tourism.
Article II
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,
the Banking Law promulgated by Royal Decree 114/2000,
and Royal Decree 104/2007 Forming the Board of Governors of the Central Bank of Oman,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
The text of article 1(2) of the aforementioned Royal Decree 104/2007 is hereby replaced with the following text:

Article II
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from 23 March 2011.

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,
the Oil and Gas Law promulgated by Royal Decree 8/2011,
and the Petroleum Agreement signed on 10 August 2011 between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and Allied Petroleum Exploration Inc for Block 36,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
The aforementioned petroleum agreement is hereby approved.
Article II
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

and the Judicial Authority Law promulgated by Royal Decree 90/99,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Said Al-Kaabi and Sayyid Khalifa bin Said bin Khalifa Al-Busaidi are hereby appointed Vice-Presidents of the Supreme Court.
Article II
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,
the Convention on the Rights of the Child adopted by the General Assembly of the United Nations by its resolution 44/25 at its forty-fourth session held on 5 December 1989,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
The reservations of the Sultanate to the Convention on the Rights of the Child attached to the aforementioned Royal Decree 54/96 are hereby withdrawn, with the exception of the reservation to article 14 of the convention, which grants the child the right to choose his religion.
Article II
The competent entities shall take the necessary procedures to implement the provisions of the aforementioned article.
Article III
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
