We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,
the Civil Service Law promulgated by Royal Decree 120/2004,
and Royal Decree 48/2012 Establishing the Education Council and Issuing Its System,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
Dr Khalid bin Mohammed bin Marhoun Al-Azri is hereby appointed Secretary General of the Education Council with the special grade.
Article II
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

An embassy for the Sultanate of Oman is hereby established in the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.
Article II

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,
and the Municipal Councils Law issued by Royal Decree 116/2011,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
The text of article 5(2) of the mentioned Municipal Councils Law is hereby replaced with the following text:
2. The Chairman of Dhofar Municipality for the Governorate of Dhofar.
Article II
The text of the second paragraph of article 11 of the mentioned Municipal Councils Law is hereby replaced with the following text:
The deputy chairman of the council for the governorates of Muscat and Dhofar must be one of the walis chosen by the governor.
Article III
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the day following the date of its publication.
