We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

the Financial Law promulgated by Royal Decree 47/98,

Royal Decree 6/2002 Determining the Competences of the Ministry of Higher Education and Adopting Its Organisational Structure,

Royal Decree 38/2002 Determining the Competences of the Ministry of Health,

Royal Decree 32/2003 Determining the Competences of the Ministry of Social Development and Adopting Its Organisational Structure,

the Labour Law promulgated by Royal Decree 35/2003,

Royal Decree 67/2003 Applying the Unified Customs Law of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf,

the Civil Service Law promulgated by Royal Decree 120/2004,

the Law on Private Entities Working in the Field of Sports promulgated by Royal Decree 81/2007,

and Royal Decree 37/2008 Determining the Competences of the Ministry of Education and Adopting Its Organisational Structure,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The attached law shall apply in regard to the care and rehabilitation of the disabled.

Article II

The Minister of Social Development shall issue the necessary regulations and decisions to implement the provisions of the attached law.

Article III

All that is contrary to this decree, or in conflict with its provisions, is hereby repealed.

Article IV

This decree shall be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the day following the date of its publication.

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

and the Law on the Expropriation for Public Benefit issued by Royal Decree 64/78,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The Project for rebuilding the Old Souq of Wilayat of Rustaq specified in the attached note and masterplan is hereby deemed a public benefit project.

Article II

The competent entities may seize, through direct execution, real estate and land necessary for the project, and all establishments on them, in accordance with the provisions of the mentioned Law on the Expropriation for Public Benefit.

Article III

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,

and the decision of the Supreme Council of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, which included the adoption of the Common Industrial Regulatory Law of the Gulf Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, issued in its 25th session held during the month of December 2004,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The provisions of the attached law shall apply in regard to industrial regulation.

Article II

All that is contrary to this decree, or in conflict with its provisions, is hereby repealed.

Article III

This decree shall be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force thirty days after the date of issuance of the executive regulation of the attached law.

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

Royal Decree 97/97 Issuing the Law Concerning the Officers System of the Diwan of Royal Court,

and Royal Decree 44/2004 regarding the Adoption of the Organisational Structure of the Royal Court Affairs and the Powers of the Secretary General Relating to Its Administrative Divisions,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The Schedule of Grades and Salaries attached to the mentioned Law Concerning the Officer System in the Diwan of Royal Court is hereby replaced with the attached schedule 1.

Article II

Officers—in service on the date of entry into force of this decree—are entitled to the basic salary prescribed for the grades they occupy in accordance with the attached schedule 1 or the salary that each of them has reached—including the increase due on this date—whichever is greater.

Article III

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on 1 February 2008.
