Royal Decree 56/2008 Amending the Grades and Salaries Schedule Attached to the Civil Service Law Issued by Royal Decree 120/2004

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

and the Civil Service Law issued by Royal Decree 120/2004,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The Schedule of Grades and Salaries attached to the mentioned Civil Service Law is hereby replaced with the attached schedule.

Article II

An officer in service on the date of entry into force of this decree is entitled to the salary prescribed for the grade he occupies in accordance with the attached schedule or the salary he has reached—including the increase due on this date—whichever is greater.

Article III

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on 1 February 2008.

Article I

The Organisational Structure of the Diwan of Royal Court is hereby adopted in the manner specified in the attached annex.

Article II

The mandates of the Diwan of Royal Court are hereby determined by royal order.

Article III
