We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

and the Trade Agreement Between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam signed in Hanoi on 13 May 2004,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The mentioned Trade Agreement Between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam signed in Hanoi on 13 May 2004 is hereby ratified.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

Ambassador Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Farsi, Our ambassador to the Kingdom of Morocco, is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Republic of The Gambia.

His Excellency Abdullah bin Aqeel bin Ahmed Ibrahim is hereby appointed an advisor in the Office of the Minister of State and Governor of Dhofar with his same grade and financial entitlements.

A ministry for tourism is hereby established and Rajha bint Abdulamir bin Ali is hereby appointed its minister.

Article II

The mandates, allocations, and assets relating to tourism are transferred from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry to the Ministry of Tourism, and all employees working in tourism are transferred to it with their same employment status.

Article III

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
