We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
Dr Rawiya bint Saud bin Ahmed Al-Busaidiya is hereby appointed Minister of Higher Education.
Article II
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,
the Commercial Companies Law 4/74 and its amendments,
the Royal Decree 10/93 Establishing the Oman and Emirates Investment Holding Company SAOG,
and the resolution of the extraordinary general meeting of the Oman and Emirates Investment Holding Company SAOG to reduce the capital of the company held on 20 May 2002,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
The text of article 3 of the Annex of the Provisions Establishing the Oman and Emirates Investment Holding Company SAOG attached to Royal Decree 10/93 is hereby replaced with the following text:
The capital of the company is 7,500,000 (seven million five hundred thousand) Rial Omani.
The percentage of shareholders’ contribution must be reduced by the same percentage as the capital reduction.
Article II
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

have decreed as follows
Article I
Articles 21(1) and 42(1) of the mentioned System of Private Entities Working in the Field of Youth Sports and Cultural Activities are hereby amended to read as follows:Article 21
The general meeting shall hold an extraordinary meeting in the presence of a representative of the entity at the written request signed by a quarter of its members, or by the chairman, which must be submitted to the board of directors indicating the reasons for the invitation, provided that they are among the following matters:
Article 42
Every sports federation must have a general meeting consisting of one representative chosen by the board of directors of each club that is a member of the federation and representatives not exceeding twelve individuals chosen by the other entities that are members of the federation.
Article II
Article 39 of the mentioned System of Private Entities Working in the Field of Youth Sports and Cultural Activities is hereby repealed.Article III
