We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

and the Diplomatic and Consular Corps Law issued by Royal Decree 40/86 and its amendments,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Ambassador Mohammed bin Nasser bin Hamad Al-Wahaibi, Our ambassador to the Republic of Turkey, is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

and the System of the Omani National Commission for Education, Culture, and Science issued by Royal Decree 95/88 and its amendments,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

First: The phrases “Secretariat general” and “Permanent Delegate of Oman to UNESCO and Delegate of Oman to ALECSO” in the mentioned system of the Omani National Commission for Education, Culture, and Science are hereby replaced with the phrases “Technical secretariat” and “Delegates of Oman to the three organisations.”

Second: The text of article 2 of the mentioned system is hereby replaced with the following text:

First: The following phrase is hereby added to the end of article 7(8) of the mentioned system:

and the decisions and recommendations issued by the general conferences of these organisations.

Second: The following are hereby added to the specialised committees stipulated in article 8 of this system:

the Media and Communication Committee, and the Women and Children Committee.

Article III

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its publication.
