Royal Decree 43/2003 Ratifying the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

and the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty signed by the Sultanate on 23 September 1999,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The mentioned Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty is hereby ratified.

Article II

Competent entities shall deposit the instrument of ratification of the treaty in accordance with its provisions.

Article III

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

and the Law Concerning the Employee System of the Diwan of Royal Court issued by Royal Decree 97/97,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Sheikh Suleiman bin Hamad bin Suleiman Al-Harthy is hereby appointed Advisor for Planning and Organisation in Royal Court Affairs.

Article II

Ahmed bin Saif bin Mussalam Al-Rawahi is hereby appointed Head of Financial and Supply Affairs in Royal Court Affairs.

Article III

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

Royal Decree 37/2003 Determining the Mandates of the Office of the Minister of State and Governor of Dhofar and Adopting the Organisational Structure of the Office

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State issued by Royal Decree 26/75 and its amendments,

Royal Decree 71/90 Adopting the Organisational Structure of the Office of the Minister of State and Governor of Dhofar,

and Royal Decree 16/2003 Adopting the Organisational Structure of Dhofar Municipality,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The mandates of the Office of the Minister of State and Governor of Dhofar are hereby determined in accordance with the attached annex 1, and the organisational structure of the office is hereby adopted in accordance with the attached annex 2.

Article II

All that is contrary to this decree, or in conflict with its provisions, is hereby repealed.

Article III

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

Competent entities shall undertake the procedures for accession to the convention in accordance with its provisions, subject to the attached reservations.

Article III

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
