We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,
and Royal Decree 3/83 on the Law Governing Omani Nationality and its amendments,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
Omani nationality is hereby reinstated to Salim bin Mohammed bin Khamis Al-Balushi.
Article II
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on 21 June 2000.

The Assistant Chief of Staff of the Sultan’s Armed Forces for Operations is hereby appointed a member of the National Road Safety Committee.
Article II

and the Muscat Agreement on the Delimitation of the Maritime Boundary Between the Sultanate of Oman and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan signed in Muscat on 12 June 2000,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
The Muscat Agreement for the Delimitation of the Maritime Boundary between the Sultanate of Oman and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan is hereby ratified.
Article II
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,
and Royal Decree 72/89 Implementing Modern Irrigation Systems in the Batinah Region,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
The Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries shall undertake providing financial and technical support for the introduction of modern irrigation systems in farms in the different regions of the Sultanate in accordance with the approved financial allocations.
Article II
The Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries shall issue the necessary regulations and decisions to implement the provisions of this decree in coordination with the Ministry of Finance.
Article III
The procedures for tenders, contracts, and financial obligations that have been made or arranged regarding the provision of financial support to farms in different regions before the issuance of this decree are considered valid.
Article IV
The mentioned Royal Decree 72/89 is hereby repealed, as well as all that is contrary to this decree or in conflict with its provisions.
Article V
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,
and Royal Decree 51/99 Adopting the Organisational Structure of the Ministry of Education,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
The level of the Administration of Education in the Governorate of Musandam is hereby raised to the level of a directorate general and it is directly subordinate to the Minister of Education.
Article II
All that is contrary to this decree, or in conflict with its provisions, is hereby repealed.
Article III
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its publication.
