Royal Decree 49/98 Issuing the System of Pensions and Gratuity for the Personnel of the Royal Guard of Oman (Repealed)

This item has been repealed by virtue of Royal Decree 52/2023.

Arabic

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,

and our approval of the contents of the letter of the Royal Guard of Oman dated 7 October 1996,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Without prejudice to our aforementioned approval, the attached system shall apply with respect to the pensions and gratuity for the personnel of the Royal Guard of Oman.

Article II

All that is contrary to this decree, or in conflict with its provisions, is hereby repealed.

Article III

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

and Royal Decree 3/83 on the Law Governing Omani Nationality and its amendments,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Omani nationality is hereby granted to those named in the attached list.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on 18 May 1998.

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

and Royal Decree 3/83 on the Law Governing Omani Nationality and its amendments,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Omani nationality is hereby reinstated to Issa bin Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al-Farsi.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on 8 June 1998.

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

the Oil and Minerals Law issued by Royal Decree 42/74,

and the petroleum agreement between the Sultanate of Oman and Triton Oman Resources Inc signed on 10 June 1998 between the Minister of Oil and Gas on behalf of the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the mentioned company,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The mentioned petroleum agreement signed on 10 June 1998 between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and Triton Oman Resources Inc is hereby approved.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.

and the petroleum agreement between the Sultanate of Oman and Amoco (Oman) Gas Corporation signed on 22 June 1998 between the Minister of Oil and Gas on behalf of the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the mentioned company,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The mentioned petroleum agreement signed on 22 June 1998 between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and Amoco (Oman) Gas Corporation is hereby approved.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.

The mentioned Agreement on Diplomatic and Consular Cooperation Between the Sultanate of Oman and the State of Qatar is hereby ratified.
