We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,
and Royal Decree 8/80 Issuing the Civil Service Law and its amendments,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
In exception to the provisions of the mentioned Civil Service Law, Mohammed Reda bin Hassan bin Sulaiman—Advisor for Planning Affairs at the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries—is hereby transferred to the special grade.
Article II
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.

Chief Air Commodore Pilot Mohammed bin Mahfoodh bin Saad Al-Ardhi is hereby promoted to the rank of Air Vice-Marshal and appointed Commander of the Royal Air Force of Oman.

and the resolution of the Sixth Islamic Summit Conference held in Dakar from 3 to 5 Jumada Al-Thani 1412, corresponding to 9-11 December 1991 amending some provisions of the Charter of the Organisation of the Islamic Conference,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
The mentioned resolution of the Sixth Islamic Summit Conference amending the first paragraph of article 6 of the Charter of the Organisation of the Islamic Conference regarding the term of office of the Secretary General of the Organisation is hereby ratified.

Royal Decree 41/76 Approving the Accession of the Sultanate of Oman to the Convention for the Suppression of Unlawful Acts Against the Safety of Civil Aviation signed in Montreal on 23 September 1971,
and the Protocol for the Suppression of Unlawful Acts of Violence at Airports Serving International Civil Aviation, supplementing the Convention for the Suppression of Unlawful Acts Against the Safety of Civil Aviation, signed in Montreal on 24 February 1988,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
The accession of the Sultanate of Oman to the mentioned Protocol for the Suppression of Unlawful Acts of Violence at Airports Serving International Civil Aviation, signed in Montreal on 24 February 1988, is hereby approved.
Article II
Competent entities shall deposit the instruments of accession with the depositary entities in accordance with the provisions of the protocol.
Article III
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
