We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

and the General System of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry issued on 15 May 1973 and its amendments,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Sheikh Yaqoub bin Hamad bin Sulaiman Al-Harthi is hereby appointed Chairman of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry until the end of the term of the current board, in exception to the mentioned general system of the chamber.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from 15 December 1991.

Sheikh Sultan bin Rashid Al-Malik Al-Shihi is hereby appointed Undersecretary for Environmental Affairs in the Ministry of Regional Municipalities and Environment.

Article III

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from 15 December 1991.
