We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

and Royal Decree 77/84 Issuing the Law Governing the Capital Municipality as amended by Royal Decree 80/85,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

The following are hereby appointed members of the Municipal Council of the Capital Municipality:

(a) Members representing the following government entities in accordance with the provisions of the mentioned Law 77/84 and its amendments:

– Ministry of Housing

– Ministry of Health

– Ministry of Environment

– Ministry of Commerce and Industry

– Ministry of Electricity and Water

– Governorate of the Capital

– Royal Oman Police

– Deputy Chairman of the Capital Municipality

– Director General of Technical Affairs at the Capital Municipality

(b) Members representing all cities and neighbourhoods located within the boundaries of the Capital Municipality, namely:

– Mansour bin Mahfoodh bin Ali Al-Juma

– Mohammed bin Khalfan bin Ahmed Al-Qasmi

– Mansour bin Ali bin Mansour Al-Salimi

– Hamoud bin Ibrahim bin Somar

– Malik bin Ibrahim bin Saif Al-Kindi

– Sheikh Suleiman bin Salim bin Obaid Al-Wahaibi

– Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamoud Al-Jawabri

– Ali bin Hilal bin Ali Al-Khalili

– Saif bin Sulaiman bin Humaid Al-Hassani

Article 2

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.

Arabic We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments, Royal Decree 5/77 Ratifying the International Telecommunication Convention signed at Malaga-Tremolinos on 25 October 1973, and the International Telecommunication Convention signed in Nairobi on 6 November 1982 and the Protocols Annexed to It, and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

The signature of the representative of the Sultanate on the International Telecommunication Convention signed in Nairobi on 6 November 1982 and its Protocols is hereby approved.

Article 2

The mentioned convention is hereby ratified.

Article 3

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

Royal Decree 40/85 Authorising the Deputy Prime Minister for Financial and Economic Affairs to Sign in a Final Manner the Economic and Technical Cooperation Agreement and the Agreement on Encouragement and Reciprocal Protection of Investments Between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of the Arab Republic of Egypt,

and the texts of the mentioned agreements signed in Cairo on 28 April 1985,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

The mentioned agreements between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of the Arab Republic of Egypt are hereby ratified.

Article 2

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.

and the constitutive contract and the articles of association of Raysut Cement Company (Omani Joint Stock Company),

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

The following are hereby appointed members of the Board of Directors of Raysut Cement Company as representatives for the share of the Government of the Sultanate:

1. Abdullah bin Nasser Al-Ghassani.

2. Salah Mohammed Abdo.

Article 2

Tayyi bin Jandal bin Ali is hereby appointed Undersecretary for the Office of the Advisor to His Majesty the Sultan for Economic Planning Affairs with the grade of undersecretary of a ministry.

Article 2
