We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

and Royal Decree 44/80 Issuing the Diplomatic and Consular Corps Law,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

Ahmed Hamoud Al-Maamari—Our ambassador to the Republic of Iraq—is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Republic of Turkey.

Article 2

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its publication.

and the General Statute of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the Sultanate of Oman,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

The following are hereby appointed members of the Board of Directors of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry for a term of four years:

1. Ibrahim bin Hilal bin Saud Al-Busaidi.

2. Ahmed Salim Al-Marhoon.

3. Issa Mohammed Issa.

4. Yaqoub Hamad Al-Harthy.

Article 2

All that is contrary to this decree is hereby repealed.

Article 3

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

Royal Decree 25/75 Forming the Board of Governors of the Central Bank of Oman,

and Royal Decree 6/79 Appointing a Deputy Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Central Bank of Oman and an Executive President for It,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

The membership of Dr Abdulwahab Khayata in the Board of Governors of the Central Bank of Oman, as deputy chairman of the board and executive president of the bank, is hereby renewed for a period of five years starting from 8 December 1983.

Article 2

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette.
