We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

and Royal Decree 44/80 Issuing the Diplomatic and Consular Corps Law,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

Issa Ahmed Ali, Our ambassador to the Democratic Republic of the Sudan, is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Republic of the Niger.

Article 2

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

the Omani Banking Law 7/74, and in particular article 106(2) thereof,

and Royal Decree 25/75 Forming the Board of Governors of the Central Bank of Oman,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

The membership of Mohammed Moosa Abdullah, Undersecretary of Financial Affairs, in the Board of Governors of the Central Bank of Oman is hereby renewed for a period of five years starting from 15 June 1981.

Article 2

The membership of M. G. Brown in the Board of Governors of the Central Bank of Oman is hereby renewed for a period of five years, or until the end of his employment contract, whichever is earlier, starting from 15 June 1981.

Article 3

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette.

Royal Decree 48/81 Issuing the Corporate Income Tax Law,

and the petroleum agreement between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and Elf Aktien Oman, the World Energy Development Corporation, the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation, and Sumitomo Oil Development Company signed on 4 July 1981 between the Minister of Petroleum and Minerals representing the Sultanate and the mentioned companies,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

The mentioned petroleum agreement signed between the Government of the Sultanate and

ELT, AQUITAINE OMAN

INTERNATIONAL ENERGY DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION, BV

KUWAIT PETROLEUM CORPORATION

SUMITOMO PETROLEUM DEVELOPMENT CO is hereby ratified

Article 2

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

Salim bin Abdullah Al-Ghazali is hereby appointed Secretary of the Council of Ministers with his current grade and allocations.

Article 2

The Council of Ministers shall determine the authorities and responsibilities of the mentioned secretary, and he is supervised by the Minister of Royal Court Affairs.

Article 3

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
