We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of articles 14 and 64 of the Diplomatic and Consular Corps Law 50/74 issued on 7 December 1974,

and based on the matters presented to Us by the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

Ambassador Ismail Khalil Al-Rasasi is hereby transferred from Our embassy to the Imperial State of Iran to the headquarters of the Foreign Ministry with effect from 16 March 1976.

Article 2

Counsellor Sadiq Jawad Suleiman is hereby granted the title of ambassador, and appointed an ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the Sultanate of Oman to the Imperial State of Iran from 1 April 1976.

Article 3

The Minister of State for Foreign Affairs shall implement this decree, and it must be published in the Official Gazette.

Abdulaziz Al-Rawas is hereby appointed at the grade of undersecretary of a ministry for media affairs

Article 4

The Minister of Information and Culture shall determine the mandates and powers of each of them.

Article 5

All those concerned shall implement this decree, and it must be published in the Official Gazette.

believing in the importance of spreading aviation awareness among Omani youth, the role this will play in the future and development of civil aviation in the Sultanate, and its necessity in establishing a broad base that meets the needs of the Sultanate for pilots and in creating proper sporting and healthy environment for youth in the Sultanate.

have decreed as follows

Article 1

The establishment of the Royal Flight Club under our chairmanship is hereby approved.

Article 2

The management of the club must be undertaken by a board of directors consisting of:

1. Salim bin Nasser Al-Busaidi Chairman

2. Sayyid Talal bin Tarik Member and Deputy chairman

3. Salim Abdullah Al-Ghazali Member

Article 3

The board of directors shall prepare the constitution of the club and submit it to us for ratification.

Article 4

The chairman of the board of directors is hereby authorised to appoint the director of the club and any necessary employees.

Article 5

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and is considered in force from the date of its signature.

Sheikh Hilal bin Sultan bin Saif Al-Hosni is hereby appointed Undersecretary of the Ministry of Land Affairs, effective from 1 January 1976.
