We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of article 173(b) of part eight of the Commercial Companies Law 4/74, as amended by Royal Decree 54/75, and based on the matters presented to Us by the Minister of Commerce and Industry,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

The following persons are hereby appointed as members of the Commercial Dispute Resolution Committee in addition to the four permanent members:

1. Al-Haj Moosa Abdulrahman Hassan.

2. Al-Haj Jaafar Abdulrahim.

3. Mohsin Haider Darwish.

4. Abdullah Hamad Al-Harthi.

5. Suhail Bahwan.

Article 2

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its publication.

after perusal of Royal Decree 25/1973 Establishing the Oman Portland Cement Company Limited, in particular articles 5 and 6 of it, as amended by article 2 of Royal Decree 49/1975,

and based on the matters presented to Us by the Minister of Commerce and Industry,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

Ali Daud, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, is hereby appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors of Oman Portland Cement Company Limited.

Article 2

The following are hereby appointed members of the board of directors of the mentioned company:

1. Suleiman Barakat Al-Lamki, Director General of Industry at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.

2. Abdullah Al-Shuaili, Director of Corporate Affairs at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.

3. Ali Mohammed Mirza, Director of Internal Trade at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.

Article 3

All those concerned shall implement this decree from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.

have decreed as follows

Said Ahmed Al-Shanfari, Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, Oil, and Minerals, is hereby granted the right to approve and sign on Our behalf the draft agreement concerning the granting of an oil exploration concession to the American company Quintana in the Saneena area.

The Directorate of Omani Heritage Collection, referred to as the “Omani Manuscripts Collection Authority”, is hereby transferred from the Ministry of Information and Culture and attached to the Ministry of Royal Diwan Affairs.

Article 2

All texts and provisions contrary to the provisions of this decree are hereby repealed.

Article 3

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its publication.
