Royal Decree 100/2005 Declaring Public Benefit Status to the Project for Expanding the Works of the Collection and Transmission Network Necessary for Wastewater Projects in the Wilayat of Nizwa and Buraimi and the Project for the Wastewater Station and Network in the Wilayat of Samail

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

the Law on the Expropriation for Public Benefit issued by Royal Decree 64/78 and its amendments,

and Royal Decree 68/2004 Declaring Public Benefit Status to the Works of the Collection and Transmission Network Necessary for Wastewater Projects in Each of the Wilayat Sur, Nizwa, Khasab, and Buraimi,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The Project for Expanding the Works of the Collection and Transmission Network Necessary for Wastewater Projects in the Wilayat of Nizwa and Buraimi and the Project for the Wastewater Station and Network in the Wilayat of Samail specified in the attached note and masterplan is hereby deemed a public benefit project.

Article II

The competent entities may seize, through direct execution, establishments and land necessary for the projects, in accordance with the provisions of the mentioned Law on the Expropriation for Public Benefit.

Article III

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

Royal Decree 98/2005 Issuing the Law of Mediation and Conciliation

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,

and the Judicial Authority Law promulgated by Royal Decree 90/99 and its amendments,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The provisions of the attached law shall apply in regard to mediation and conciliation.

Article II

This decree shall be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force after six months from the date of its publication.

Royal Decree 95/2005 Determining the Mandates of the Ministry of Tourism and Adopting Its Organisational Structure

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State issued by Royal Decree 26/75 and its amendments,

Royal Decree 61/96 Adopting the Organisational Structure of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and its amendments,

and Royal Decree 61/2004 Establishing a Ministry for Tourism and Appointing Its Minister,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The mandates of the Ministry of Tourism are hereby determined in accordance with the attached annex 1.

Article II

The organisational structure of the Ministry of Tourism is hereby adopted in accordance with the attached annex 2.

Article III

All that is contrary to this decree, or in conflict with its provisions, is hereby repealed.

Article IV

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

and the Law on the Expropriation for Public Benefit issued by Royal Decree 64/78 and its amendments,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The project for constructing Wadi Dayqah Dam in the Wilayat of Quriyat (Phase I) specified in the attached note and masterplan is hereby deemed a public benefit project.

Article II

The competent entities may seize, through direct execution, real estate and land necessary for the project, in accordance with the provisions of the mentioned Law on the Expropriation for Public Benefit.

Article III

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
