We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

and the Law Governing Omani Nationality issued by Royal Decree 3/83 and its amendments,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Omani nationality is hereby granted to those named in the attached list, from the date stated next to each name.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette.

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

and the Law on the Expropriation for Public Benefit issued by Royal Decree 64/78 and its amendments,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The project for developing the Hasik area in the Governorate of Dhofar specified in the attached note and masterplan is hereby deemed a public benefit project.

Article 2

The competent entities may seize, through direct execution, establishments and land necessary for the project, in accordance with the provisions of the mentioned Law on the Expropriation for Public Benefit.

Article III

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

have decreed as follows

Article I

The attached amendments are hereby made to Royal Decree 1/80 Establishing the State General Reserve Fund.

Article II

All that is contrary to this decree, or in conflict with its provisions, is hereby repealed.

Article III

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its publication.

Article III

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

and the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women adopted by United Nations General Assembly Resolution 24/180 dated 18 December 1979,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The accession of the Sultanate of Oman to the mentioned Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women is hereby approved.

Article II

Competent entities shall undertake the procedures for accession to the convention in accordance with its provisions, taking into account the attached reservations.

Article III

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
