Royal Decree 30/2025 Ratifying the Statute of the Labour Centre of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation

We, Haitham bin Tarik, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State,

and the Statute of the Labour Centre of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The Statute of the Labour Centre of the Organization of the Islamic Cooperation is hereby ratified in the form attached.

Article II

Competent entities shall deposit the instrument of ratification for the mentioned statute in accordance with its provisions.

Article III

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Water Resources: Ministerial Decision 51/2025 Lifting the Ban on the Import of Live Animals from the Republic of Yemen

Based on the Veterinary Quarantine Law promulgated by Royal Decree 45/2004,

the Executive Regulation of the Veterinary Quarantine Law issued by Ministerial Decision 107/2008,

Ministerial Decision 86/2000 Banning the Import of Live Animals from Some States,

and the recommendation of the competent veterinary entity to lift the ban on the import of live animals from the Republic of Yemen,

and in pursuance of public interest,

it is hereby decided

Article I

The ban on the import of live animals from the Republic of Yemen, provided in the mentioned Ministerial Decision 86/2000, is hereby lifted, provided that their import is in accordance with the conditions stipulated in the attached annex.

Article II

The competent entities shall implement this decision, each in their fields of competence.

Article III

This decision must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the day following the date of its publication.

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The aforementioned agreement is hereby ratified in the form attached.

Article II

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State,

and the Agreement between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of the Republic of Cyprus for the Avoidance of Double Taxation and the Prevention of Fiscal Evasion with Respect to Taxes on Income signed in the city of Muscat on 8 December 2024,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The aforementioned agreement is hereby ratified in the form attached.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

Royal Decree 22/2025 Issuing the Law of the Diplomatic and Consular Corps

We, Haitham bin Tarik, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State,

the Civil Service Law issued by Royal Decree 120/2004,

the Law Governing the Foreign Ministry issued by Royal Decree 32/2008,

Royal Decree 78/2013 Issuing the Unified Grades and Salaries Schedule for Omani Civil Employees of the State,

and Royal Decree 21/2025 Determining the Mandates of the Foreign Ministry,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The provisions of the attached Law of the Diplomatic and Consular Corps hereby apply.

Article II

The members of the diplomatic and consular corps maintain their same grades and financial allocations and current employment status.

Article III

The Foreign Minister shall issue the executive regulation of the attached law and shall also issue the necessary regulations and decisions for implementing the provisions of the attached law, after the approval of the competent entities, and until they are issued, the existing regulations and decisions continue to operate to the degree that they do not contradict with the provisions of the attached law.

Article IV

The mentioned Law Governing the Foreign Ministry is hereby repealed, as well as all that is contrary to the attached law or in conflict with its provisions.

Article V

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the day following the date of its publication.
