Ministry of Labour: Ministerial Decision 36/2023 Issuing the System for Job Performance Measurement

Based on Royal Decree 89/2020 Establishing the Ministry of Labour, Determining Its Competences, and Adopting Its Organisational Structure,

and in pursuance of public interest,

it is hereby decided

Article I

The provisions of the attached System for Job Performance Measurement shall apply.

Article II

All that is contrary to the attached system, or in conflict with its provisions, is hereby repealed.

Article III

This decision shall be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the day following the date of its publication.

Based on the Majlis Al-Shura Elections Law promulgated by Royal Decree 58/2013,

and the Law of Majlis Oman promulgated by Royal Decree 7/2021,

and in pursuance of public interest,

it is hereby decided

Article I

The number of representatives of the wilayat in Majlis Al-Shura for the tenth term is hereby specified in accordance with the attached annex.

Article II

This decision shall be published in the Official Gazette.

Royal Decree 6/2023 Ratifying the Agreement on the System of Linking Payment Systems between the States of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf

Arabic

We, Haitham bin Tarik, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State,

and the Agreement on the System of Linking Payment Systems between the States of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf adopted in the city of Al-Ula on 5 January 2021,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The aforementioned agreement is hereby ratified in the form attached.

Article II

Competent entities shall deposit the instrument of ratification for the aforementioned agreement in accordance with its provisions.

Article III

This decree shall be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

National Centre for Statistics and Information: Decision 9/2023 Issuing the Executive Regulation of the Statistics and Information Law

Based on the System of the National Centre for Statistics and Information promulgated by Royal Decree 40/2014,

the Statistics and Information Law promulgated by Royal Decree 55/2019,

and the Executive Regulation of the Statistics Law promulgated by Royal Decree 29/2001 issued by Ministerial Decision 7/2004,

and the approval of the Ministry of Finance,

and in pursuance of public interest,

it is hereby decided

Article I

The provisions of the attached Executive Regulation of the Statistics and Information Law shall apply.

Article II

The aforementioned Executive Regulation of the Statistics Law is hereby repealed, as well as all that is contrary to the attached regulation or in conflict with its provisions.

Article III

This decision shall be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the day following the date of its publication.

Article I

The provisions of the attached system shall apply in regard to the expenses, disbursements, and tenders of the elections of the members of Majlis Al-Shura and the municipal councils.

Article II

and the Protocol Amending the Agreement between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of the Republic of Türkiye for Air Services signed in Montreal on 29 September 2022,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The aforementioned protocol is hereby ratified in the form attached.

Article II

This decree shall be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

Royal Decree 4/2023 Approving the Accession of the Sultanate of Oman to the Protocol to Amend the Convention on Offences and Certain Other Acts Committed on Board Aircraft

We, Haitham bin Tarik, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State,

and the Protocol to Amend the Convention on Offences and Certain Other Acts Committed on Board Aircraft done at Montreal on 4 April 2014,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The accession of the Sultanate of Oman to the Protocol to Amend the Convention on Offences and Certain Other Acts Committed on Board Aircraft is hereby approved in the form attached.

Article II

The competent authorities shall deposit the instrument of accession to the aforementioned Protocol in accordance with its provisions.

Article III

This decree shall be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

Ministry of Health: Ministerial Decision 5/2023 Replacing the Schedule of Communicable Diseases Attached to the Law on the Control of Communicable Diseases

Based on the Law on the Control of Communicable Diseases promulgated by Royal Decree 73/92,

and Ministerial Decision 127/2013 Replacing the Schedule of Communicable Diseases Attached to the Law on the Control of Communicable Diseases,

and in pursuance of public interest,

it is hereby decided

Article I

The Schedule of Communicable Diseases attached to the aforementioned Law on the Control of Communicable Diseases is hereby replaced with the attached schedule.

Article II

The aforementioned Ministerial Decision 127/2013 is hereby repealed, as well as all that is contrary to this decision or in conflict with its provisions.

Article III

This decision shall be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the day following the date of its publication.
