Royal Decree 69/2014 Ratifying the Air Transport Agreement between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of the United States of America

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,

and the Air Transport Agreement between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of the United States of America signed in the city of Muscat on 16 Safar 1435, corresponding to 19 December 2013,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The aforementioned agreement is hereby ratified in the form attached.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

After perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,

the Decree on Port Revenue for Oil Facilities of 1972,

the Maritime Law promulgated by Royal Decree 35/81,

and the Oil and Gas Law promulgated by Royal Decree 8/2011,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The provisions of the attached Law on the Determination of Port Charges for Shipping Hydrocarbons and Petroleum Products shall apply.

Article II

This decree shall be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the day following the date of its publication.

and the Law Governing Omani Nationality promulgated by Royal Decree 3/83,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Omani nationality is hereby reinstated to those named in the attached list, from the date stated next to each name.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette.

Telecommunications Regulatory Authority: Decision 60/2014 Issuing the Regulation Governing the Utilisation of and Access to Passive Infrastructure

Based on the Telecommunications Law promulgated by Royal Decree 30/2002,

the Executive Regulation of the Telecommunications Law issued by Decision 144/2008,

and the approval of the board of directors of the authority in its meeting 4/2013 dated 22 May 2013,

and in pursuance of public interest

it is hereby decided

Article I

The provisions of the attached regulation hereby apply in regard to the governance of the utilisation of and access to passive infrastructure.

Article II

All that is contrary to the attached regulation, or in conflict with its provisions, is hereby repealed.

Article III

This decision must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the day following the date of its publication.

Ministry of Commerce and Industry: Ministerial Decision 506/2014 Issuing the Regulation on the Controls for Operating the Salalah Free Zone

Based on the Law of Free Zones promulgated by Royal Decree 56/2002,

Royal Decree 62/2006 Establishing the Salalah Free Zone,

and the Regulation Governing the Salalah Free Zone issued by the Decision of the Chairman of the Free Zones Committee 15/2011,

and in pursuance of public interest,

it is hereby decided

Article I

The provisions of the attached regulation shall apply in regard to the controls for operating the Salalah Free Zone.

Article II

All that is contrary to the attached regulation, or in conflict with its provisions, is hereby repealed.

Article III

This decision shall be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the day following the date of its publication.
