We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

Royal Decree 30/80 Authorising the Signing of the Media Agreement Between the Sultanate of Oman and the State of Qatar,

and the document of the mentioned agreement signed in the city of Muscat on 12 March 1981 between the Ministers of Information of both countries.

have decreed as follows

Article 1

The mentioned Media Agreement Between the Sultanate of Oman and the State of Qatar is hereby ratified.

Article 2

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

the Commercial Companies Law 4/74 and in accordance with the provisions of article 132 thereof,

Royal Decree 11/81 Establishing Oman Mining Company LLC,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

The eight members of the Board of Directors of Oman Mining Company LLC are hereby appointed as follows:

(a) Four members representing the Ministry of Oils and Minerals, including the Chairman of the Board of Directors, and they are selected by the Minister of Oils and Minerals.

(b) A member representing Oman Development Bank, selected by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Oman Development Bank.

(c) A member representing the Development Council, selected by the Deputy Chairman of the Development Council.

(d) A member representing the Directorate General of Finance, selected by the Deputy Chairman of the Financial Affairs Council.

(e) A member representing the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, selected by the Minister of Commerce and Industry.

Article 2

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

and Royal Decree 19/79 Establishing the Council of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Industry,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

The Council of Agriculture, Fisheries and Industry shall continue to exercise its powers in its current composition and with the same current chairman and members until another royal decree is issued in this regard.

Article 2

The application of the text of article 8(1) and of article 9(4) of the mentioned Royal Decree 19/79 is hereby temporarily waived.

Article 3

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

The Accession of the Government of the Sultanate of Oman to the mentioned Convention on the Prevention of Marine Pollution by Dumping of Wastes and Other Matter signed on 29 December 1972 and its annexes is hereby approved.

Article 2

The competent entities shall implement this decree, each within its mandate.

Article 3

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
