We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

Royal Decree 25/75 Forming the Board of Governors of the Central Bank of Oman,

and the Banking Law 7/74,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

The chairmanship of Sayyid Tariq bin Taimur in the Board of Governors of the Central Bank of Oman is hereby renewed for a period of five years starting from 15 June 1980.

Article 2

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
