Royal Decree 19/81 Declaring Public Benefit Status for the Project to Construct the Sultan Qaboos Public Park in Qurum Area

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

and Royal Decree 64/78 Issuing the Law on the Expropriation for Public Benefit,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

The Project to Construct the Sultan Qaboos Public Park and Nature Reserve in Qurum Area specified in the attached note and masterplan is hereby deemed a public benefit project.

Article 2

The competent entities may seize the land necessary for the mentioned project, and all establishments and plants on them, in accordance with the provisions of the mentioned Law on the Expropriation for Public Benefit.

Article 3

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

Royal Decree 18/81 Authorising the Minister of Education to Sign the Agreement on Cultural Cooperation Between the Governments of the Sultanate of Oman and the State of Qatar

Arabic We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments, and the draft Agreement on Cultural Cooperation Between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of the State of Qatar, prepared in cooperation between the two governments, the entry into force of which is subject, in accordance with the provisions of article 12 of it, to ratification by the two contracting countries in accordance with the legal rules of each of them, and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

The Minister of Education is hereby authorised to sign the Agreement on Cultural Cooperation Between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of the State of Qatar.

Article 2

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance. Issued on: 6 Rabi Al-Thani 1401 Corresponding to: 11 February 1981

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

and Royal Decree 8/80 Issuing the Civil Service Law and its amendments,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

Sheikh Abdullah bin Ali Al-Khalili is hereby transferred from the Ministry of National Heritage and Culture and appointed an advisor to the Ministry of Royal Diwan Affairs with his same current grade.

Article 2

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

and Royal Decree 8/80 Issuing the Civil Service Law and its amendments,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

In exception to the provisions of the mentioned Civil Service Law, Sayyid Sultan bin Hamad bin Faisal, Head of Tribal Affairs at the Ministry of Royal Court Affairs, is hereby transferred to the first financial grade of the general schedule designated for an undersecretary of a ministry.
