The accession of the Sultanate of Oman to the Convention on International Liability for Damage Caused by Space Objects is hereby approved in the form attached.

Article II

Competent bodies shall deposit the instrument of accession for the aforementioned convention in accordance with its provisions.

Article III

This decree shall be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

We, Haitham bin Tarik, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State,

and the Agreement on the Rescue of Astronauts, the Return of Astronauts and the Return of Objects Launched into Outer Space done on 22 April 1968,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The accession of the Sultanate of Oman to the Agreement on the Rescue of Astronauts, the Return of Astronauts and the Return of Objects Launched into Outer Space in the form attached.

Article II

Competent bodies shall deposit the instrument of accession for the aforementioned agreement in accordance with its provisions.

Article III

This decree shall be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

Arabic We, Haitham bin Tarik, the Sultan of Oman after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State, the Law of Majlis Oman promulgated by Royal Decree 7/2021, and Royal Decree 77/2019 Appointing the Members of Majlis Al-Dawla, and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Maha bint Sulaiman bin Barakat Al-Lamkiyah is hereby appointed a member of Majlis Al-Dalwa, instead of Lubna bint Mohammed bin Sameer Al-Kharusiyah.

Article II
