We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,
the Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland on Cooperation in the Field of Defence signed in 1994,
and the amendment of Annexes A and B attached to the aforementioned memorandum of understanding signed on 17 May 2016,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
The aforementioned memorandum of understanding and amendment are hereby ratified.
Article II
This decree shall be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
