We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,

the Oil and Gas Law promulgated by Royal Decree 8/2011,

and the Petroleum Agreement signed on 11 October 2011 between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and Oman Oil Company Exploration and Production LLC for Block 42,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The aforementioned petroleum agreement is hereby approved.

Article II

This decree shall be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

and the Law Governing the Foreign Ministry promulgated by Royal Decree 32/2008,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Ambassador Sheikh Mussalam bin Bakheet bin Zaidan Al-Baraami, Our ambassador to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Republic of Iraq.

Article II

This decree shall be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

Royal Decree 124/2008 Establishing the Human Rights Commission and Determining Its Competences,

and Royal Decree 10/2010 Appointing the Members of the Human Rights Commission,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Saad bin Suhail bin Salim Al-Mukhaini is hereby appointed a member of the Human Rights Commission to replace the person named in article I(3) of Royal Decree 10/2010.

Article II

This decree shall be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
