Arabic We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96, and the royal decree repealing the decree issued on 8 May 1972 regarding changing the name of Mazoon Airport to Oman International Airport, and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The name of Seeb International Airport is hereby amended to Muscat International Airport.

Article II

All that is contrary to this decree, or in conflict with its provisions, is hereby repealed.

Article III

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on 1 February 2008. Issued on: 10 Rabi Al-Awwal 1429 Corresponding to: 18 March 2008

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

and the Diplomatic and Consular Corps Law issued by Royal Decree 40/86,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Ambassador Mohammed bin Said bin Mohammed Al-Lawati, Our ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Article II

Ambassador Sheikh Abdullah bin Saleh bin Hilal Al-Saadi, Our ambassador to the People’s Republic of China, is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.

Article III

Ambassador Dr Bader bin Mohammed bin Zahir Al-Hinai, Our ambassador to the Republic of Austria, is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Czech Republic.

Article IV

Ambassador Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Farsi, Our ambassador to the Kingdom of Morocco, is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Islamic Republic of Mauritania.
