We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,

and the Air Transport Agreement between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria signed in Algeria on 21 Dhu Al-Hijja 1427, corresponding to 10 January 2007,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The aforementioned agreement is hereby ratified.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

Royal Decree 48/76 Regarding the Signing of Foreign and Domestic Financial Transactions,

Royal Decree 50/80 Establishing Petroleum Development Oman Limited Liability Company and the Determination of Its Rights and Obligations Under the Applicable Laws in the Sultanate of Oman and the Articles of Association and the Conversion Agreement dated 1 Rajab 1400 corresponding to 15 May 1980,

Royal Decree 2/2005 Granting the Concession Right to Explore and Exploit Hydrocarbon in Block 6 in the Sultanate of Oman and approving the agreement extending and consolidating the concession agreement signed on 19 December 2004 between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman (represented by the Ministry of Oil and Gas) and Private Oil Holding Oman Limited,

and the agreement signed on 28 October 2006 amending the concession agreement (hereinafter referred to as the “amendment agreement”) signed between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman (represented by the Ministry of Oil and Gas) and Private Oil Holding Oman Limited,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The amendment agreement concluded on 28 October 2006 on amending the mentioned Agreement Extending and Consolidating the Concession Agreement for Block 6 in the Sultanate of Oman concluded on 19 December 2004 is hereby approved.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
