We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

and the International Code for the Security of Ships and of Port Facilities adopted at the diplomatic conference held in London during the period from 9 to 13 December 2002,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The mentioned International Ship and Port Facility Security Code is hereby ratified.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

and the Diplomatic and Consular Corps Law issued by Royal Decree 40/86 and its amendments,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Ambassador Abdullah bin Salim bin Abdullah Al-Shanfari, Our ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Iran, is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Kyrgyz Republic.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

Royal Decree 61/2004 Establishing a Ministry for Tourism and Appointing Its Minister

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

A ministry for tourism is hereby established and Rajha bint Abdulamir bin Ali is hereby appointed its minister.

Article II

The mandates, allocations, and assets relating to tourism are transferred from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry to the Ministry of Tourism, and all employees working in tourism are transferred to it with their same employment status.

Article III

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
