Arabic We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96, and the Civil Service Law promulgated by Royal Decree 8/80 and its amendments, and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Mohammed bin Hamoud bin Zahir Al-Tubi is hereby appointed Undersecretary of the Ministry of Tourism.

Article II

and the Commercial Agencies Law issued by Royal Decree 26/77 and its amendments,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

A second paragraph is hereby added to article 7 of the mentioned Commercial Agencies Law with the following text:

Contracts for the purchase of weapons, ammunition, or military equipment of all types and forms signed by military or security entities directly with the principal are excluded.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
