We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

and the Trade Agreement Between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran signed on 8 Jumada Al-Awwal 1424, corresponding to 8 July 2003,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The mentioned Trade Agreement Between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran is hereby ratified.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

The mentioned Montreal 1997 and Beijing 1999 amendments to the Montreal Protocol on Substances That Deplete the Ozone Layer are hereby ratified.

Article II

Competent entities shall deposit the instrument of ratification of the amendments in accordance with its provisions.

Article III

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
