We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,

and Royal Decree 86/97 regarding Majlis Oman and its amendments,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Sheikh Suleiman bin Hamad bin Suleiman Al-Harthi is hereby appointed Member of Majlis Al-Dawla.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

and Royal Decree 32/2003 Determining the Mandates of the Ministry of Social Development and Adopting Its Organisational Structure,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The text of article I of the mentioned Royal Decree 32/2003 is hereby replaced with the following text:

Article I

The mandates of the Ministry of Social Development are hereby determined in accordance with the attached annex 1. The Minister of Social Development shall issue the necessary regulations and decisions to implement these mandates.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
